What is fragrance?

Parfum or fragrance is a mixture of scents. Some of them can cause an allergic reaction; those are listed separately on the label.

Recognise

On a Dutch label as

  • parfum
  • fragrance

May also be it

  • essential oils
  • limonene and linalool (listed separately)

We look for these Dutch words in the ingredient list itself, also between brackets. If in doubt, read the pack.
