Questions and answers
How do you know a product is vegetarian?
By its label claim, or by its ingredient list: no meat, fish, gelatine or carmine. Some ingredients can come from plants or animals (E471, vitamin D3); the product page says so. Read the pack in your hand when in doubt.
Ingredient information comes from the manufacturers and supermarkets and may be out of date. Products without allergen information are left out: unknown is not the same as safe. Read the pack, especially with an allergy.
