Questions and answers
Which Dutch supermarket has the most vegan mayonnaise?
Jumbo, with 7. Then Albert Heijn (5), PLUS (4), Hoogvliet (2), Dirk (1).
How do you know a product is vegan?
By its label claim, or by its ingredient list: no meat, fish, gelatine or carmine, and no milk, egg or honey either. Some ingredients can come from plants or animals (E471, vitamin D3); the product page says so. Read the pack in your hand when in doubt.
Ingredient information comes from the manufacturers and supermarkets and may be out of date. Products without allergen information are left out: unknown is not the same as safe. Read the pack, especially with an allergy.
